KZ2's online will be reason enough for PS3 owner to buy it. RE5 will be great though but it won;t effect KZ
THERE IS ACTUALLY NOTHING I AM EAGER TO PLAY ON 360, FABLE 2 GOT BORING, GEARS ONLINE WOULDN'T WORK FOR SH!T, I WAS EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED WITH THE 08 LINE UP. ALL THE GOOD GAMES WERE MULTI PLAT.

XBL is not that much better than PSN. I do enjoy cross game chat and invite, but thats all. Everything else is basically the same. PSN has come a long way and it will get better, but for the price I can't complain. Give PSN another year and it will be on par. As for XBL what more can they add to make it even better? The PS3 is 2.2 yrs into it's life cycle and are around 20mil consoles. I just want to know where the 360 was 2yrs into it's life cycle, Any one know? I know it wasn't 18 to 20 mil. The PS3 is fine.

If you have a wireless connection don't even play Socom. I'm a Socom head from way back. It's the most tactful shooter out, most people don't like because it doesn't play like call of duty. Call of duty is played out and boring nobody talks and there is no teamwork at all. Socom is for people that can work together and achieve victory, not respawn all day spawn camp. Socom rules

NO. People do buy garbage especially in this country, the quality product is staying consistant while the garbage product has a price cut so mommy and daddy will buy it, no parent is going to buy their 10 or 12yr old a PS3. look at how far the PS3 is behind the 360. Look at where it started and look at where it is now. They are close. 2009 will be an interesting year. The consoles have to offer something big, Sony will need to have a $199 PS3 to pass the 360. Now if you look at where both consoles are compared to the Wii. Then the fight is closer than it looks.

I've played gears, mgs4, lbp and gta4, and metal gear and gears of war have better stories and gameplay, but lbp is superior to all considering how much you can do with it, but I don't hate on gta4 at all it was a good game.

I just completed resistance 2, and started playing Gears 2. The gameplay and graphics are better in R2, and I'm not a fanboy. It's not even close. But Gears has better gore.
It's always been apart of the past Socoms. Zipper really should've made this game. Slant SIx really slipped up on some of the most important parts.

As a gamer it doesn't really matter. As of now the PS3 offers more as a multi media machine and will offer even more in the future. I couldn't say this a year ago. The Xbox 360 really hasn't changed since it launch, it offered some great games the first 2 years which can't be denied.
